Everything That You Are
A constellation map of my favorite freckles. I’ve always been insecure about my moles/larger freckles growing up, so I wanted to highlight them lovingly. My mom would call all my bigger freckles chocolate chips, and now I always think of them that way. Something sweet to decorate my body. By making this piece a diptych instead of just a single self-portrait, I show that even when you leave a place or person, what you loved before will stay. Your energy will remain with people if you walk through life with love.

Back Home
This piece is about being homesick, growing up, and missing silly high school drama. I’m reaching out to a home I used to know, connected only with my memories. Adapting from being 17 in high school to 18 in college was a crazier shift than I had expected it to be.
